- Hydraulic bulging
The steel pipe tee hydraulic bulging is a forming process that expands the branch pipe by axial compensation of metal material.
(1) a special hydraulic press is used to inject liquid into the tube blank with equal diameter of three passes.
(2) through the two horizontal cylinders of the hydraulic press, the tube billet is squeezed by the middle movement, the volume of the tube becomes smaller and the liquid in the tube becomes smaller with the volume of the tube, and the pressure rises.
(3) when the pressure is needed to expand the three pipe, the metal material flows out of the inner cavity of the die under the dual action of the side cylinder and the tube blank. The steel pipe tee hydraulic bulging process can be formed at one time, and the production efficiency is higher. The head and shoulder wall thickness of the three links increase. - Hot pressing forming
(1) flatten the tube blank larger than three passes to a diameter of three to a diameter, and open a hole in the part of the drawing branch.
(2) the tube billet is heated into the forming die, and the die of the drawing branch pipe is loaded into the tube blank.
(3) Under the action of pressure, the billet is compressed radially. During the process of radial compression, the metal flows toward the branch pipe and forms a branch pipe under the drawing of the die. The three – pass hot press is suitable for the material with wide adaptability to low carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel, especially for the three through thick diameter and tube wall, which is usually used in this forming process.
